New iTunes Before/On Friday

I was wondering, are they going to release a new iTunes by friday or on friday? Also do you think they will add a "Convert For iPhone" option for videos?

The last iTunes update included the iPhone coding, as far as video it would be the same as convert to iPod

nope, everything is in place. Just run software update if you have no done so in a while, but you are all good to go otherwise.

when I convert for iPod it converts the videos to .m4v, isnt it better to convert to that acc or h.24 something?

Or would that .m4v be the most optimized?

Chances are, they will release the update to iTunes on Friday, but don't count on any new amazing features like "Convert video to iPhone." Expect an update similar to the update for AppleTV.
