Hello, my brand new 27 inch iMac 5K Retina arrived today. I bought it on 20th December so I believe it is the refreshed 2020 model. I bought it with the stock 8GB RAM with the idea to upgrade it myself to 128GB. However no supplier of RAM in Europe says they can give me any RAM that’s compatible with the new mode. Crucial has been out of the RAM for the first 2020 model for over a month and don’t appear to have any RAM for the refreshed version.I also just contacted Kingston and they said they are only making 16GB sticks for this refreshed version.

Can anyone help me? I’ll have to return this if it’s not possible to find RAM to upgrade it with to the 128. :(

@pldelisle developed a very comprehensive list of acceptable memory modules for the iMac and Mac mini which can be found here:

I have a 2020 iMac in the UK and bought this from Amazon which works fine + is in stock. I only got 64GB but obviously 4 x 32 gives you the 128.
