New Layout - Reviews Needed

I just redid my site with a very basic layout to get where people want to go. This site is for my friends mainly, and just a place where I can post my feelings about something without being judged, as I am the admin. I just wanted to know what you guys thought of the site.

It definately lets them get to where they want to go easily.

However, I've never liked sites with big HUGE words.

If you are looking for quick navigation, seems fine to me.

Definitely easy to get around, but on the blog page is your picture supposed to extend into the sidebar? It's just that it makes it a little hard to read.

It does it's job.
Why not use three images instead, it will look better than the large text, in my own opinion.

i might make the font smaller and add some sort of rollover (no text decoration in normal state but underlined on rollover maybe?) though.
looks very good
and have you looked into another phpbb theme? the default one looks good, but it IS the default theme and it would seem more personal to me if you used another theme, if that makes any sense.

20rogersc: I replaced the text with pictures, except for the top. My server isn't letting me view the welcome logo. Text has to stay.

homerjward: Made font smaller. Couldn't add rollover, Nvu is being stupid. I also looked into another theme but my connection and browsers are being stupid and won't download the whole file. Will keep trying.
