Hey guys,

My LED flashlight app, called "LED Flashlight *Batteries Included" just went live yesterday. I was going to give it away for free but I put a lot of time into it and hopefully people will get a lot of use out of it, so I figure it's worth a dollar. I'd love it if you'd try it out and let me know what you think, good or bad. BE CAREFUL of the battery cover. You might have to shake the flashlight to get the battery cover back on if it falls off. ;)

Here are a couple of screenshots:

I also created a mini-site for it: http://www.ledflashlightapp.com/

Thanks and enjoy!

In my opinion you get what you pay for - I think a lot of the free flashlight apps provide basic functionality but weren't really for me, which is why I spent a fair amount of time polishing up this one. Thanks!

No offense, buts its a flash light. It turns on and off the LED flash. You can only 'polish' that so much. Also, how it useful to have the 'batteries' fall out. If I'm walking through my dark house with the power out, and the 'batteries' fall out putting me back in the dark, I'd be pissed.

None taken! I think the same can be said for a lot of apps, it's just an "x." Luckily it's not very easy for the batteries to fall out, but if you find that does happen, please let me know and I'll give it an update. Thanks!

Edit: Another thing about the free apps is that most of them have ads, which I find super annoying, but maybe that's just me. :) Anyway thanks for the input.

I, for one, like it. I do feel this is a pretty polished app. Simple? Yes. But the UI is well thought out and it works well. When I open the app, it immediately turns the light on. Some of the others I've tried (both free and paid) take a moment before the light comes on. That's just flat out annoying. If you need a light, you don't want to wait for the thing to turn on. For 99 cents I feel it's worth it. If you don't, simple... don't buy it.

I used N493YWFEXPJY. (Thanks)

Thanks a lot, glad you like it! If you notice anything that doesn't seem quite right please let me know.

You know, I reluctantly tried this app because I have one of the free ones which works pretty well. After playing around with this one for a minute, I can honestly say that I like it better than my free one. I like how you can adjust the frequency of the strobe.

I like this app but to be quite honest with you. If it hadn't been for the promo code, I probably wouldn't have even looked at it knowing that there were free ones out there.

Nice job with the app.

Yeah, I hear you there - thanks for the honest feedback.

Sound is a nice touch.

Need to re-groove the threads on the base cap ... comes loose with use.

Thanks - haha, yeah it justs pop right off doesn't it? Any thoughts on the "ease" of the battery cap coming off in terms of user interaction? Too easy? Not easy enough?

I just purchased this app. It's the best LED light app I've seen so far. The polished interface is fantastic, the sounds are a nice touch, and for only .99, this is an easy buy.

Nice job on a nice app!

I had to purposefully do it, which is what you want. Don't want to disable the device by accident or have a user not know what happened.

@Daremo: Thanks so much! If you get a chance and wouldn't mind throwing that into an app store review, that'd be awesome too. :)

@asleep: Okay, good to know, thanks! Love the sig quote by the way, haha.
