iPad New lightning adapter too ??

As apple recently updated there usb c to av adapter will they also be updating there lightning adapters like lightning to usb 3 adapter
I am asking cos i wanna buy one so should i wait or buy it for my air 3

I doubt it. The USB-C version probably only had the update because of the Mac compatibility.

I mean they just updated the usb c adapter so why not update lightning ones i mean besides ipad pro 2018 models and macbook almost all apple devices have lightning jacks

Maybe add a usb c port in it so that it can draw more power and that might solve the usb is drawing too much power issue that persists with existing one or maybe improve something else i dont know
