Just got my new M1 MBA and encountered the following issues related to keyboard, mouse and audio. Wondering if anyone having similar/same issues and able to fix them.

1. Fn key
  • Sometimes the fn key (with globe) gives no response when I attempt to change input method
  • With the option “Use F1, F2 etc. as standard function key” enabled, only volume adjustments and playback control work with fn key + respective f keys. Functions like Do Not Disturb & Siri do not work
2. Logitech Option
  • Upon its first installation, it did not prompt me to allow all its required security and privacy permission as Logitech state, such as Input Monitoring
3. MX Keys
  • the OS has a few seconds delay of the expected responses of fn key + function keys (e.g. pressing fn + mute key will mute the audio after 5 to 10 seconds)
4. MX Master 3
  • Customised settings, such as disabling mode shift button, sometimes do not apply. They 100% work only if I keep Logitech Option opened
  • So many micro dropouts even though the Macbook is just 10cm from the mouse with no noticeable interference
5. Very Low Audio Output Quality through Monitor
  • The MBA is connecting to U2720Q monitor via a USB-C to USB-C cable, while the monitor has a 3.5mm line-out connecting to a soundbar. The audio output quality is exceptionally low. It seems like an issue caused by insufficient bandwidth on USB-C however the monitor displays 4K @60Hz HDR without any issue

Watching this thread because I also have a (perfectly working) MX Keys. Haven't upgraded from Catalina yet, was planning to do so when 11.2 is released.

What version of Big Sur are you on?

Do you set the MX Key's F-keys as standard function keys in Logitech Options? If yes, is there any delay if you press fn + different function keys?

My new M1 MBA has Big Sur 11.1 pre-installed.

I suspect that most of these issues will go away once Logitech recompiles the Options program to be universal, or native....

No, I removed Logitech Options from my computers after trying it a while back. It turns out I didn't need any additional stuff from that tool, the keyboard already works satisfactorily for me without Options. The only thing that still annoys me, is that the backlight can't stay on permanently, even with the USB-C power supply plugged in. I think I only install/check Options now and then for firmware updates may possibly fix that.

Anyway, the FN button works fine on Catalina here. If there are problems in Big Sur 11.1, let's hope they will be solved in 11.2.
