Houston (duh)
This may be a MacOS thing, but it's on my new 14" MBP (m3 Pro Chip, 18 GB).

Often, when I open a new tab and enter a URL, it will hang for about 10 seconds then load. This occurs on Safari and Chrome, so assuming it's a setting of some sort or other program that is creating this delay. Any ideas?

Because it's Chrome and Safari, that tells me it's not a cache/cookies history thing.

PS. the M2 MBA that I migrated this data from is running perfectly on the same network.

Update ... only happens on WiFi. Hard-wire is perfect.
All other devices on the same WiFi and router are just fine so just my new MBP has an issue...

What could it be?

I deleted all my known networks etc. too.
