New Mac - Lion to SL

I plan on buying a 2010 Mac Pro in a few months from the refurb store and want to know how easy it is to downgrade from Lion to SL.
I have the SL disk so all I'd need to do is wipe drive with the disk, the backup partition as well, and just do a complete install?
