New mac mini 1.4ghz model dont find my sd card?

Hello.

Im on a new 2014 mac mini the cheapest model.
When i insert a sd card nothing happens.
Is it something i could do with the settings or is it broken?

I noticed that my mac mini (2012) does not recognize an old sd card I have.
Maybe try to reformat the card.

One other approach:

You could buy a USB3 card reader, and try that...

I've experienced the issue too. Especially when I push it in hard. I've checked the pins, blowed the slot and applied some contact cleaner to no avail.

I know it's strange but when I insert it gently, it mounts everytime. So that has been my solution.
