Just got a 2018 Mac Mini and have a pair of Dell U2414H monitors - but only one monitor works.
Monitor 1 (working) is plugged into HDMI, monitor 2 (not working) plugged into one of the TB3 connectors using a "USB 3.1 Type C to Mini DisplayPort" adapter. (This one here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LY7DEQU) with a MiniDP to DP cable.
I've tried a different cable (a MiniDP to MiniDP) with no luck.
With this very same cable and adapter I can plug it into my MacBook Pro 2016 and have the display work correctly as a second monitor to the laptop.
Any ideas why it doesn't work with the Mac Mini??

Oddly a USB-C to HDMI adapter works just fine with a HDMI cable to monitor 2 from the Mini.

Thanks in advance!

I've just ordered a USB-C to DisplayPort cable in the hope that the mini will work using it instead of the adapter setup I tried.
