I'm not sure if this the correct place to post this but here goes.

Every time I try to connect to the iTunes Store I get this error message

"iTunes could connect to the iTunes Store. The host is down.
Make sure your network connection is active and try again."

I also get this error message when I try to access Radio in iTunes.

2011 2.3 GHz i5 Mac Mini
8GB ram
OS 10.7.2
iTunes ver 10.5.1

My internet connection is fine.
Anyone know how to fix this? Every reference I have found is old, nothing recent like Lion or newest ver of iTunes.
Help Please!

Your wireless internet connection does not look fine to me.

The wireless icon at the top right should look like this:

Finally figured it out. The culprit was Little Snitch. DUH!!!
I am not a geek.(not there is anything wrong with that)
