Hello, I am on the market to change my old MBP core duo, used ONLY for audio processing (Logic, Reason, etc..). How would a new mac mini compare to my old MBP core duo 2.16 with 2GB in that area ? Would it be better to buy an Imac compare to the Mac mini taking in account I don't care about graphics ?
Thanks

A Mac Mini should be fine, just make sure it has plenty of RAM, as Logic tends to be a complete RAM Hog, and never enjoyed being stuffed on a slightly older Mini (I had it running on an older ~2.2Ghz with 2GB, and it wasnt enough) - Id post-market upgrade a mini if you get it to 8GB, then it should be fine for your needs :D
