Has anybody looked at the maximum memory capacity that the new Mac Mini supports? Crucial quotes $220 for 8 GB 1067 DDR3? Anyone knows where I can get it at a lower price?

My touch screen is kaputt, thus I can't scroll down to see more listings, therefore I was only able to see the top offers at the top.

I wish we still had keyboards and mice, using the touch screen is quite tiresome, but many people want them anyway.

I already can see the accessories, arm rests for the desktop, to elevate your arms for fighting fatigue.

The cheapest I see 8GB of memory at Crucial is for over $400.

http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Mac%20mini%20%28Intel%20Core%202%20Duo%202.4GHz%29%20DDR3%20-%20Mid%202010

I also looked at non Apple specified DDR3 204 pin memory and the cheapest is still over $400 (sometimes you can find the same type of memory cheaper if it doesn't explicitly say it is for Apple).

Make sure that you are looking at the right amount (2x4GB) instead of (2x2GB). Also make sure you are looking at the right type of RAM (204 pin SODIMM DDR3 PC3-8500). I'm pretty sure that MacSales (OWC) has the cheapest price on this stuff right now (I paid $247 but it looks like it just dropped to $239). The next cheapest I have found is from NewEgg.

Unless you really need 8gb NOW, I would wait a year, the price is just going to continue to drop and drop.

I would bet that in a year, 6/22/2011 you could get 8gb of ram for the new Mac Mini for like 200 if not less.

I bought 2gb of ram for my Macbook Rev. A for like 250 bucks, a year latter it was like 98 bucks.

It just depends on how badly you need it. If you don't really need it now I would say wait for the price to drop.
