I own many Apple products but the Mac Mini I just purchased is my first Apple *computer* since the IIc way back in the day. Being a PC user, I have to say I am still getting used to the Mac OS but I enjoy my new machine greatly. Now I can hack the iphone just like I always wanted! :)

congrats from 1 new mac mini owner to another. My last Mac was an SE/30 so I guess I am not as back in the day as you. lol You will love the mini. it is an awesome computer.

The mac mini is a really nice product. It's compact but the size is deceiving it still packs in a punch.

Yeah I got the 2.0GHz with 2GB of memory and so far I'm happy with it. The only thing that seems slow is creating a disc image from a DVD.

Congrats my friend and welcome! You will find plenty of info right here in the MacRumors forums

I just got one too and i love it.

I'm thinking to change my keyboard and mouse to a mac one. I'm using a logitech EX110 at the moment .

Can the new minis be updated to Airport Extreme 802.11n, a la the first generation of C2D MacBooks? Or is strictly 802.11g?

As far as I've heard, you can't use the N-enabler on the mini's (like you could on the Macbooks). But, if you feel comfortable opening up the mini, people on the forums have put in the same wireless extreme card as can be purchased for the macpro (you can search the forums, if you want to find the threads).

Enjoy your mini! :D
