I hope that Apple will think about it as much as I do.

Putting a quad-core CPU in a Mac Mini won't be happening for a good while yet.

Either the CPU runs at 0.5GHz per core, or the heatsink is the size of another Mac Mini.

There is no way it will be put into the Mac Mini any time soon.

The X3100 needs slightly better cooling than the GMA950 and it's probably one of the reasons the Mini hasn't seen a significant update - perhaps they're not ready to retool for a totally different case. I'm sure it has to come though, perhaps they'll make it a little bigger and roomier all round.

The Commell LV-676 supports core 2 quad...
Power supply and thermal design are a problem... It's a challange.
I'm looking for a suitable case on the web...

I wouldn't believe that story. BestBuy has sales on Apple computers all the time. I got my 2015 MBP in May for $150 off and my 2012 MBP in July for $200 off.

Definite price drop of $20. It does not say sale but very strange for Apple.
