I saw that Apple just released a new Mac mini. Last month, I purchased a Late 2012 Mac mini. I'm still within the 30-day Best Buy return policy, but it sounds like the 2012 Mac mini I purchased may have better specifications than the new one.

Can somebody help me decide whether to keep what I have or opt for a 2014 Mac mini?

Thanks!

Well if its the quad core one, i'd keep it and upgrade the RAM and have a SSD put in there along with the current hard drive inside.

Keep it. Unless you need better graphics performance, but if you're shopping for a Mini you're probably not a big gamer anyway. For me the CPU performance of the quad i7 is much more important. I've been holding out waiting for an "update" but with today's announcement I'm going to look for a 2012 i7 instead.
