Personally, I avoid the first generation design from Apple. Mostly, there are some issues with new design and Apple quietly fixes them in next generation. However, the new Mac Pro seem to be no problem at all. I googled it out. None is popped up. Many people have received nMP.

Anyone has any problem with new Mac Pro?

So far, I've heard:
- Thunderbolt-cable-can-come-loose-too-easy-gate
- Lockbutton-scratch-gate

:p

Where did you hear about the cables? All I've heard about is someone concerned about this based on their experience with an rMBP.

I wouldn't say that so many people have received it where you'd see an influx of complaint/-gates. Wait until February and it may be a whole different story.
