Hi,

After buying a new Mac Mini today i got it home , swapped the 500gb hard drive for a 256gb SSD drive and then went about installing OSX 10.10 Beta 1 (the public preview). I did a fresh install from my 16gb USB pen that i created on my other mac. It seemed to install fine , installed a few apps and updates and the restarted. It came up the apple sign and then a progress bar. It went half way across and then put up a no entry sign. I tried repairing permissions in disk utility and it came up a few errors. I tried restarting it and no joy. In the end i had to do an internet recovery and put mavericks on. What is the problem?

The beta. That's why Apple says to try it only a secondary machine.
