New Mac user, bought Macbook pro

Just wanted to say "Hi". I just purchased my first Mac, a Macbook Pro.

Specs are in my sig. I got it lightly used at and outstanding price. I suppose i should of waited another week and bought a new Core 2 Duo one, but oh well. I already have a Core 2 Duo PC at home (E6600 overclocked to 3.6ghz, 2gb ram, 7900gt etc etc).

I'm loving every mintue of it so far and i'm sure i'll have tons of questions. My friend ntrsfrml has been helping me out, i think he's a member here considering he's the one that reffered me here.


Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi".

Congrats and welcome to the Mac community. You got yourself a great machine there...the 2 GB of RAM will help that thing fly.

Have a look around the forums...we're all pretty helpful around here. If you can't find the answer to your questions in the forums already, feel free to post them and we'll get on the case ASAP!

Thanks! So far i've been able to figure everything out either on my own by poking around or with the help from ntrsfrml. Google has been a big help as well
