Hi,

My old PC has been playing up and I considered switching to a Mac in the past. As a happy iphone user I decided to go Apple this time.

Looking at the options, iMac, Macbook or Mini I decided I really quite liked the idea of the Mini and using as both a PC and 'media unit'. Trouble was I couldn't find one in stock nearby.

I went to a stockist a few weeks back just to see, and they told me they had a new/unboxed 2009 Mini. Well it had the superdrive built in of course, and 4GB RAM, and it was offered at half price so I took the plunge. I'd much rather have the HDMI connection on the latest one to make it easier to plug into any TV (I've had to buy two different types of audio adaptors so far).

I had a bit of a 'wobble' at first - what have I done, I should've stuck to Windows because I know my way around that etc., but now I'm getting used to it I'm very happy, especially like using the trackpad instead of a mouse.

Any Mini specific advice or tips gratefully received!
