I pulled up that exact comparison. I think you got it right.

I'm a bit surprised that Apple went with ULV CPUs in the 2011 13" (whereas they went with LV CPUs in the 2010 13"). Yet battery life has apparently not improved for the 13".

Aren't they using the new battery measuring method? We had this "battery life has gotten worse" discussion with the release of MacBook Pro 2011 as well.

Yeah, I thought about that but I think when Apple released the 2010 MBAs, the new battery testing methods were already in place. I could be wrong.

In any case, the 2011 11" models have the same battery life as the 2010 models, and they all use/used ULV CPUs. The 2011 13" models are now using ULV instead of LV yet also retain the same battery life. You would think that the 2011 13" models would get better battery life.

Yes, all the Sandy Bridge mobile i5s and i7s support hyperthreading and turbo boost.

Yeah, Hellhammer said something about it not making a difference on battery life. That really suppresses me as well. Kinda wish they'd gone with the LV for the 13"
