The SSD controller does, 10.6 doesn't, so yeah, as hachre said, hopefully 10.7 will feature TRIM.

Just install Windows 7 onto a separate partition, and every few months, format the Mac partition with NTFS, boot into Windows 7, run the TRIM command, then reformat it back to HFS+ and install OS X. Problem solved.

good advice, of course there are other drive formatting tools via a usb stick that won't require the dreaded windows. And let's also mention here that you really have to be very anal retentive (or demanding maybe) if you do this more often than 6 months. So let's hope that in six months that lion will be here, the king of the jungle will support trim too.
Uh yeah, you do realize you need to buy a copy of Windows? You're so nonchalant about it you sound like people get Windows for free like other forms of freeware on the web.

lol, thats a total waste of time.
You could just reformat the whole drive and reinstall OS X. No reason to run TRIM in windows.
You just need to reformat it the right way, and at this point I have no idea how to do that on a mac.

I don't think the above poster knows how SSDs work.
When you delete or format an SSD, you do not actually delete the data, you just mark that sector on the SSD as "hidden". Even when you secure erase/format it, you're just writing zeros all over it. The SSD will slow down unless there is free space with NOTHING on it, like Factory fresh. The only way to do that is with TRIM, and you MUST have Windows.
