I'm getting an SR macbook this week and on the side ordered 4 gigs of ram and 200gb 7200rpm hd. From what I gathered, leopard isn't all that friendly with the keyboard and what not so, would it be ok to install tiger onto the new drive after swapping it?

I currently have tiger on my MBP and since reading about some of the issues on this forum and on the apple forum, I think I'm gonna stick with this OS. Has anyone else done this as well after receive a santa rosa macbook or mbp?

How could you get a 200GB 7200rpm HD? That's not APPLE offered option.

wow guys. i mean. Look at all of the recent posts. Those guys complaining can't all be trolls.

I got my parts at macsales. to hell with apple options. $800 to upgrade to a 250gb hd, smokin crack imo.
