Don't get your hopes up. There won't be a new Macbook released in January. It was just refreshed in November.

Going by the track record Apple's had with their revisions over the past couple of years, they're almost certainly going to have missed (many?) things before shipping a completely new MBP model. I refuse to be a guinea pig!

Usually it's in store or online the same day.

They were refreshed in November. November 1st actually. If Apple releases new hardware at Macworld it won't be a replacement for the Macbook. Who really knows though ...

Dying to replace 12" PowerBook with an Intel machine. 13" MBP would be perfect, especially with real "Pro" specs.

What would be the point in that? The simplified OSX the iPhone and iPt use is perfect for its size... what are you after, a 5 inch MacBook? Ridiculous

If it's a 12-13" MBP, sign me up. This MacBook would go to a family member. If it's just a slimmer MacBook... I'll get a 15" MBP. I'm not getting a Mac Pro until MWSF 09 so I need something with a little punch to get me through the next 12 months!

Since my MBP is only a bit older than a year, I don't have a real reason to buy. Therefore, I'll drool, if necessary.
