Just got my macbook today...it's sweeeeet however I have some concerns. When I was checking out the screen savers, it crashed while the arabesque screen saver was running, then it made me re-boot. When I shut the computer off, I noticed this yellowish hue directly in the middle of the screen when the computer was off! You can only see it in certain lighting, and you can't see it when the computer is on, but it seems like it happened right after my macbook crashed. Is it possible that something got permenetly burned into my screen?

If you have a desk lamp that you can shine on your MB, you will probably see a yellow light on it. This is coming from the light from the lamp which comes through the apple symbol on the other side of your MB. There are pictures of people doing it and it is not a defect.

lol yea, light shines through the apple symbol on the opposite side. Nothing to worry about.

unless it keeps crashing there's nothing to worry about.
