Hey-- my three week old mac book pro 13" - Dec 2016 - has a messed up pixelated screen when open it up and have to open and close the lid 3 to 5 times to get it to stop. anyone else having this issue already? lose wire? Bad QC? Bad design? rushed manufacturing? this does not seem like a good sign of things to come. Ugh.

Post a pic. We've had a number of trolls and disinformants who get a kick out of the idea they can hurt a company. From now on I think we will require a bit more evidence than a few words before we can trust a post online.

First we will need evidence that you are not an Apple shill. Because I have seen you place blame on the user in EVERY single thread.

Common problem. Search for threads on the topic. Is your resolution set to 1280x 800?

thanks for the head's up!
This is a very real problem for me. I bought 2 identical 13" MBP's for Christmas. Both have since been returned with this pixel distortion issue. We were always able to make it behave by changing desktops or other actions, but it was a persistent and worrisome issue. The first machine eventually failed to accept a charge and was swapped out by Apple several weeks ago. Seeing that progression, I brought my copy into the Apple Store Genius bar and they swapped it out as well. Thinking I had a "pair" of computers bought at the same time from same store and recognizing QC issues are inevitable, I was happy with the response from Apple. But - - Today my 3 day old replacement booted with a corrupted, pixelated desktop. Again, swiping to a second desktop and returning fixed the problem. But i am now again worried. A return to the Genius Bar is likely in my near future unless today was an anomaly.

Same problem on two machines? Sounds like a software conflict to me unless it's doing this on both out of the box.
