NEW MacBook Pro Information Request

Hello,

Apologies if this information is somewhere else. It's bound to be but after hours of trawling I've not found what I'm looking for.

I would like to know what is expected from the NEW MacBook Pro's? Is anything confirmed, rumoured, likely, expected, wanted etc? I've read something about possible new enclosures? Is there an expected release date? Some conference/show where they might appear?

Also, could someone clarify the issue with Rev A? Does that refer to hardware, firmware or software? Does it mean that Apple release an initial version of their hardware and then it gets revised and a newer model comes out?

Basically any information that people have about NEW, yet to be release MBP's, be it confirmed or rumoured, I would be very grateful to be informed.

UPDATED: Being ignorant I did not know what Santa Rosa was (still a little vague) but I clicked on the Santa Rosa thread and it seems like a lot of MBP information is here. Sorry.

Still, if anyone has a more devinitive list, complied in one place, of what is to be expected. That would be very useful. Thanks

i think 2.4GHz core 2 duos will come out, and they will run @ 800MHz FSB, at least they planned.

I heard they were going to put nVidia's 7600 in the low end model, idk if this is true.

I'm not going to answer your questions, but I will state something that has gotten on my nerves lately. Santa Rosa is a mobile platform; call it the next Centrino. The next MacBook Pro may or may not use the Santa Rosa platform. It will, however, more likely than not, use a Socket P Core 2 Duo and the Crestline chipset. The current MacBook Pro doesn't use the Napa platform, nor has it ever, which leaves no precedent for people to use when making predictions about the next MacBook Pro.
