HI,

Just curious if you will use your new MacBook pro naked or with a case?

I have always used snap on incase shells for my MacBooks and they have worked very well but I don't think they have any available for the new design.

Naked!

I've never understood putting a case on a laptop. It hinders heat dissipation leading to possible throttling of the processor and it makes the laptop so heavy.

I'm not a big case fan, would much prefer a skin, something like the Natural Series from SlickWraps.com although it would add a fraction to the overall thinness.

Have they companies like Speck, Incase, Moshi started to come up with Hard Shells for the 2016 rMBP but ?

I have a skin on the top lid of my rMBP, but that's it. Tried plastic hard cases at first, but they had to be periodically cleaned and they eventually cracked. Not to mention the added bulk and weight.

Got annoyed with cases previously. Switched to a skin for a while on my current MBP but have been naked for about a years now. No issues with the casing getting scratched up at all.

But I did order a Slickwraps Faux leather skin for the new model just for something different.

Sleeve only. I mainly use it my laptop at home or school. Don't really take it out when traveling, just stick with my phone or iPad for that

I wrap all my apple devices in a carbon fiber overlay, it looks pretty sweet. No case though, just this tape stuff. Even wrapped my desk in it. And when my phone is on my desk, it blends in, cant even find it!
