My wife just got me the new MBP 2.1 C2D yesterday at the Apple store and what a machine. Its fast opens all my inDesign work quick and also PhotoShop CS2. I think this is a great Laptop since I do use windows programs for work but I installed Parrallels which running very fast for what I needed. I had the extra RAM so I installed it on the Mac so I have the 2GB. Does any one know if you max it to the 3GB is there a big difference? Well today this morning I was doing some work on this new Mac and noticed that the green light was not on and was running on the battery. So I checked the plug, plugged it to another outlet and still nothing. So has anyone had this problem, I will call the store tomorrow since they where close today, to see what can be done. I also noticed that my wife's Mac which is a MBP C2D has Fujitsu hard drive and it really quiet, its so quiet you cant really hear it accessing the drive. On my MBP it has the Hitachi and you can actually hear it accessing the drive. The screen is great I first thought that it would be to big at 15.4 because I have always used small portable computers with a 12" screen and thought this would be to big, but its a good size.:D

This may sound weird, but sometimes I get a bad 'connection' with my adapter, and it takes an unplug/replug at the Magsafe point to get it to work. I'd fiddle around with the connecting adapter to the machine, and if you still have problems, bring it in.

I tried my wife's power adapter and it does work on my Mac :D I was hoping it wasn't my MBP since I just got it and had everything up and running. I will take my power adapter to the Apple store today hopefully they can just give me another one. I will take my laptop and box just incase they need to check my Laptop but I know that its not my Mac since my wife's adapter works.
