I haven't heard of any problems with the new iMac, and the 17 inch MBPs haven't had that many problems with them compaired to the 15 inch, and they just came out. And it also seems that the newer Macbook Pros, like, ones manufactured more recently, have less heat and no whine problems. I think the Macbook pro will be a lot less buggy than the MBP, IMO.

I know 4 people with an iMac core duo, and none of them have had a single problem. Also, my dad's MPB, and all the other people I know with an MPB have had no problems whatsoever.:D

Certainly, apart from some initial whining, everything now seems perfect. Nothing wrong at all. Doesn't even seem to get too hot really.

I'm really rather happy about the situation!
