Hi- I was deciding to either get the new updated MBP now or get it in October when Leopard is out... Do you think there will be an updated MBP lineup when Leopard releases, and if so, any large update? Thanks!

There is always something newer, faster, and cheaper right around the corner. You can play the waiting game forever and never get a new computer. Buy one when your needs dictate you do so.

If you need one now, you can use a mature and stable version of OS X and you can upgrade to Leopard when you want to.

I would hazard a guess at saying that post-Leopard MBPs will have Robson caching, but likely not till early next year.

If you wait until October when Leopard is released, you'll save the cost of the Leopard upgrade, and there will have been enough time to see if there's any major issues that happened with the LED screen or the SR chipset.

As said above there will always be something fast, brighter, better looking, simpler, easier, better battery, faster DVD drive. Just buy one when you need it and be happy with what you have got.
