So I just got this MacBook yesterday and I'm having some problems.

First problem is that I wanted to disable the close-lid sleep mode. I ended up finding some terminal code that says it fixes the problem. Shame on Apple for not having a setting. I move my laptop around a lot and close the lib when I do so, and it's annoying to have it go into sleep mode every time I do so.

The second problem is the one I'm having right now. For some reason Handbrake thinks it's the king of my laptop and won't let it restart. It literally says: "Handbrake canceled the Restart." I've tried to quit the numerous ways that it can be done and to no avail. I then tried to hold down the on/off power button, which just brings up menu of options instead of forcing the computer to shut down.

So I have a couple problems there, if any of you can answer any of them, that would be extremely helpful.
