I just bought a new MacBook and I can say that i love it, I have had no problems whatsoever, knock on wood. I actually prefer the glossy screen and the spaced keys better than the MacBook Pro screen and keys. I also own an M-Audio Keystation MIDI controller and a Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini.

I was wondering if I should download Boot Camp and use Adobe's Audition? Or use something else, for my musician needs.

Also which is the better IM service Adium or msn for Macs? I am leaning toward Adium now but i was wondering which one utilizes the iSight camera?

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in Advance

neither Adium nor Messenger offer webcam support... for regular MSNing though, I prefer Adium. It's a lot better looking, IMO.

There's a program called Mercury Messenger which is msn-based and utilises the isight camera. Have a google if you're interested.

Personally, I use skype.

I would recommend using Logic Express for music stuff or SoundStudio or Garageband or ProTools. Why use Windows when you bought a Mac? aMSN does webcam stuff as does Skype. Though Adium is my fav (but I don't have an iSight).

The whole reason you bought a Mac was so you can run Mac software. I mean the OS itself is nice but it's only real purpose is to support the running of other programs. So for sound/music. Start out with Garage Band. It's free. Until you can say why you don't want it you can't say why you want something else. Then get that "something else" that specifically address Garage Band's lackings

If you have some specific needs with your recording software list them here. No one can recommend anything until they know what you want to do.
