New Macbook to Plasma

I'm buying a 13 MBP this weekend and I'm planning on hooking it up to my Plasma via DVI to HDMI and minijack digital to my stereo. I've got about 70 movies or so on an external that i plan to put on my mac. Any Advice? Do I need the dual link adapter? All the reviews on it are horrible


(I'm planning on getting an apple tv so i can just stream them but I want to wait to see if one comes out that is 1080p)

I'd love to rip blu rays but that looks way to complicated right now

A dual link DVI adapter is not necessary. There is also a straight mDP -> HDMI adapter to skip DVI from Monoprice.

well the new 13" MBP doesn't have a DVI port on it. You would have to buy a mDP to DVI and then DVI to HDMI if you wanted to do that. Go for the mini displayport to HMDI cable, that will make it much simpler.
