I was just wondering... will the new Macbooks still have the overheating, random shutdown etc. problems or will Apple have applied the patches before shipping the new ones?

overheating was solved with an SMC update at the end of last year.
Random shutdowns was the cause of bad heatsink design, which was fixed Rev B, and everyone who had the random shutdown got new heatsinks free of charge.
Staining was fixed Rev B, and all who had staining got new keyboards and display bezels free of charge.

So pretty much the new ones kick ass. I picked up a BlackBook ultimate last weekend and it flies!

Okay, good. I just don't want to get all excited about it and then end up with the problems everyone else had with the older ones.
