new macbooks

does anyone know when the new macbooks are expected?

i have read rumours about the new macbooks- such as being really thin and possibilities of a touch sensitive track pad.

i thought the event on tuesday might include them, but i have not heard of anyone suspecting it will be for macbooks, only imacs. when are they due?

I don't think it would happen this tuesday.

And if there is something, it would be a small speed bump. Not something like touch-sensitive track-pad.

I do believe there would be an update for the iMac. Let's hope it is a nice update.

Macbooks were just released a few months ago. Not a chance for Tuesday.

The current revision of macbooks has barely been out for two and a half months... Saying that they only get updated about every six months, sometimes more, I wouldn't be expecting an update until November at the earliest. More likely at MWSF 08.

the notebooks are the only thing Apple has updated in months.....I think the Macbook has been updated twice in the time any of the desktop Macs have been.....You'd think they would have to be focusing on everything But the notebooks right now

now is a great time to buy a Macbook IMO
