I'm a rolling stone.
I can buy a Macmini5,1 (2.3 GHz) 2011 for Singapore $ 628/US$ 505 here in singapore, it will be less after claiming tax back on the airport, after a tax (gst) rebate it is U$ 470, 129 less then when it came out last year.

What do you guys think, I don't play games, don't do much heavy lifting anymore, well, once in a month or so but it's just simple photoshop and the like.

Like to hear what you think.

Seems like a decent deal. They go for 469 in the US refurb store for reference (obviously that's not singapore, but just giving you another reference point). As long as you don't play games (which the HD3000 will do basic gaming just not as good as the HD4000) and you don't need USB3.0 then the 2011 is a great machine. I had one.

I thought it was a decent deal, it's also a well known shop here, not from a shabby dealer or so.

Is it a good machine, no problems whatsoever, I know it only got an Intel 3000 inside but to me it won't make much of a difference, got a powerbook G4 1.67 now so this must be much faster.
This PB is still good but software is a problem.

This will crush your PB G4. Even the HD3000 will crush the GPU in your PB.
