iPad Pro New Magic Keyboard ; risk of delaminating?

The new Magic Keyboard for the M4 iPad Pros sits very flush with the display and e.g. unlike a MacBook lid, there is no lip to open it. The only hold is provided by the outer cover material which seems glued to the metal palm rest.

I wonder whether this will not increase the risk of the thing delaminating…
