Anyone using the new Magic Mouse with a Mac Pro 6,1 on Monterey?
Any way to make the multi-touch gestures working?
The mouse is working and connecting ok via bluetooth but no multi-touch gestures are working unfortunately: only left/right clicks and normal movements are working :-(

I think the Mac Pro 6,1 only supports up to Monterey, so I think you'd probably need something like Opencore Legacy Patcher just to get software/driver support for the new mouse, and even then I'm not 100% sure that would work. 🙃

(an easier alternative would be to just use the Magic Trackpad... I'm pretty sure that still works fine on old Mac Pros)

Can you still return the Magic Mouse?
For this exact reason I recently ordered the old version with Lightning connector as long as they are still available brand new from reputable sellers. Often even discounted.
If you are happy with Monterey, it is kind of insane to tinker with Open Core or having to buy a new Mac just because of an updated charging port of a Bluetooth mouse…
Otherwise you need macOS Sequoia 15.1 (unless the updated driver can be extracted somehow).

Yes. I returned it as I'm happy with Sequoia: the one I need would be the Model A1657 right?

Yes, model A1657 (MK2E3Z/A) is correct. (I suspect you meant to write Monterey instead of Sequoia.)
This is the latest Magic Mouse with Lightning port, sometimes (incorrectly) referred to as the Magic Mouse 3.
It has the USB-C to Lightning charging cable included whereas the original Magic Mouse 2 has a USB Type-A to Lightning cable.
