New maps features only available in the US?

Hey guys,

I use the PB1 and tried the navigation. I have no lane guidance nor speed limit info in Germany.
Is this feature exclusive in the US? What about other European countries?

Only select cities or areas in the US at this time. It is backend so Apple can add to an city/area at anytime.

I tried it this morning in West Michigan...Grand Rapids area....and all worked (and worked extremely well).

We're not exactly considered a major metropolitan area, so I imagine it is available in MANY parts of the US.

Lane guidance is more welcome than I could have imagined.

I have always loved the UI of Apple Maps more than any other map program and so glad it is so much better now. I still get the occasional errors, but nothing worth screaming about. Going to use it exclusively for a while and see how it does.

It is actually a really good feature, especially in Atlanta where we have 5 and 6 lane highways.

During the first days of B1 not many were getting it. It seems to be spreading out fast in the US. For may countries it will likely be closer to launch before it's available.
