Just for those of you who have or are getting the new MBP. The drivers for the video, wired network, audio and isight are all incompatible with the current drivers from bootcamp 1.2 Hopefully apple with come out with an update soon.
Wait for a new version of Boot Camp guys...
OK, while contemplating on making the switch, I wanted to check a few more things. As I understood, the LAN issue can now be fixed, and the video drivers can be had from Laptops2Go?
I have a couple more questions for anyone that has an XP install on the new MBP:
1. Does the wireless network work?
2. Does Bluetooth work? More specifically, does the Wireless Mighty Mouse work on a new MBP under Windows?
I guess no news on the audio driver yet?
Why wouldn't it? Apple doesn't issue drivers for it on Windows as it is. It just makes it an awkward two button mouse.I guess we are waiting on the Boot Camp anyway. How about my Mighty Mouse question?
Can anyone confirm that the Mighty Mouse works on a MBP under Windows XP?
Thanks.
You can get the ethernet card and video working. You can go to marvell's site to get the yukon drivers, and http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ to get the video drivers. Only remaining issue is audio
can you give a direct link to the correct drivers? I found this http://www.marvell.com/drivers/driverDisplay.do?dId=101&pId=39 but idk if this is correct.

Wired...um yes
Bluetooth...yes, I use mine all the time.
Exact same thing here. Realtek hi def audio but no sound. I suppose I'll just wait for updated bootcamp. Using Vista Ultimate btw.Yea the two links provided are correct. You just have to manually install the drivers. Is anyone else having huge issues getting audio to work? Vista installs the drivers, but theres no audio coming out.
Has anyone gotten the xp drivers to work for the 8600, following the instructions from laptopvideo2go I get an error about missing "nvucode.bin"
Thanks
