hi everyone, i recently got my first mac, a 15" 2.2ghz macbook pro, and so far i am very pleased with it! actually, that's an understatement, but i'm not here to elaborate...

my notebook exhibits some strange behavior concerning the little button that you push to open the display. when the computer is running and i have the ac adapter plugged in, i sometimes feel a strange sensation on my right palm when typing (right above the superdrive). when this happens, if i touch the little latch-release button, i can feel electricity (a current? not sure of the technical terms...) running into my hand. it's not painful; actually it's quite fun sometimes, but something tells me that this is not healthy or normal... i'm not sure what triggers it; it seems random, but over the past few days of working on this computer i've noticed it several times

has anyone else noticed this in their macbook pros? should i be concerned?

The electricity is leaking? I have the same problem with my HP PDA when it's plugged but it does not bother me that much since most of time I use battery obviously.
But for MB, if I were you I would take it to a local store to have a look.

this 'feature' has been there on every single aluminium apple notebook i've ever had

"with great power comes great responsibility." charged by a radioactive mbp - Has the ability to heat himself to deadly temperatures when under duress. Extremely, dangerously pretty and sleek.

Kryptonite? 2wire routers....
