hi all
got my 2nd MBP yesterday - this one is awesome:D
i want to install windows / bootcamp, apple's site says you need the latest firmware. How do I know whether I already have the latest, or should I just download the latest update and run it?
Thanks!

System Preferences -> Software Update -> Check For Updates.

Download any firmware updates you might need. I know my brother's Macbook got two recently.

thanks for the reply - actually though software update will update the OS but not the firmware.

It's actually pretty clearly printed on apple's site (i should have read more carefully), that the firmware will just not install if you already have the latest.
