In order to have my wireless printer "Canon Pixma IP 5200R" functioning properly with my new MBP, I realize, after quite a few attempts, that I shall have to remove the printerdriver etc that I had already managed to install from the Canon CD that followed the printer, however they did not work with the new MBP (new downloadable drivers have logically enough appeared since then!).

Thus I would like to completely remove the non-functioning driver etc from the MBP before installing the new driver. However, being a Newbie and a former PC-user, I don't know how to do that. Would be grateful for any advice, thanks

I may be wrong, but when I've d/l'd updated printer drivers, I've just installed them without having to "uninstall" the old ones. Shouldn't be any harder to do than that!
