Hi :)

I receaved my new MBP LED today. I booted it up and launched the system profiler. When I went to the power management option i saw that the battery had already 6 cycles. Does somebody know if this is normal ?

I don't think that is normal, on my new MBP it says my health is at 97% :( and I have never even charged it yet. It has other issues too though.

That's probably fine.. they do have to test the batteries before shipping them.

:S Well on one hand, its just 6 cycles. On the other hand, when purchasing something new, i'd expect to receive something with a number closer to zero cycles

6 is pretty close to zero..if it were zero, then it wouldn't be tested.
