Hey Everyone,

I have been reading this forum for the past few months waiting to pull the trigger on a new MBP. I decided to wait till the yellow screen issue was fixed. I finally ordered my 2.2 MPB with 160 gig HD on 8/8. I received it today. It is an LG display btw.

There is no yellow as far as I can tell. I messed around with the profiles a little and went with a more 'blue' theme. No dead pixels so far, praying it stays that way.

The only slight issue was there was some slight blacklight bleeding near the top middle to right. It was annoying because the white menu bar made it noticeable. I ended up rubbing the screen near the top of the screen with the piece of included fine foam, and to my surprise, the bleeding basically went away. There is now some very slight bleeding remaining, but only noticeable if you are looking for it with a fine tooth comb. So if you have some bleeding, give this a try.

I am extremely happy about my purchase. This is my first mac btw. Vista pushed me away from Microsoft, and I'm so glad not to have to worry about anti-virus/spyware. I can do my finances with a clear conscience! Thanks!
