Hi,

I just got my MBP 3 days ago and I got a stupid question about my MBP's Track pad.

Is an MBP suppose to respond to tapping/ double tapping on the track pad just like how any PC laptop does?

I stuck a Track Pad Firm (bought in Apple Store) on my MBP within hours I opened the box, and so I didn't check if my MBP responds to tapping/double tapping without the trackpad firm. With the track pad firm on, my MBP's track pad doesn't respond to any tapping at all (but I have no problem with scolling).

Thank you for your help!

Did you check your settings? Tapping and dragging are options you have to turn on.

Good luck!

Oh really? Thanks for telling me :)

Can anyone tell me how to turn on those options please?
(at the mean time, I'll try figuring it out myself)
