So.. I got a macbook pro like a week ago. definitely less then 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks on sunday. I got it the 4th. it works nicely. I'm loving the backlit keyboard... bla bla bla, but it's just not working properly.

2 days after I got it, it had a problem finding the battery. The OS said it was charged, the adapter said it as charging, so I unplugged it to see get something to respond... and it said the battery didn't exist. After a few minutes it found the battery, and I didn't think anything of it.

CUT TO:
Today, I put the mac into my bag.. when I pull it out, it's just coming out of suspend, but not from where I left it... it looked like it had rebooted, and then suspended mid-boot, so it was still booting up when I brought it out of suspend. I called Apple and logged it with Applecare.

Now a few minutes ago, I put it into suspend (not sure why, I didn't really need to.... ) and the apple logo got dark... and then a second or two later I heard the start up charm. I opened it up to watch it rebooting on me. It was plugged in the whole time. I'm not sure why it's doing this... I tried repairing permissions, but everything was fine.

I don't know why it's doing this. any ideas?

P.S. It doesn't reboot every time I suspend it.. just sometimes. I don't know if that's related to the battery problem.

Take it to Apple and ask for a replacement. If its within the return policy they will give you a new one.
