I bought the 2.2ghz 15" LED, and here are my thoughts.
My former machine was a G4 1.67 Powerbook with 1.5gb ram, and wow, talk about a huge difference. First of all, I went to the Apple store and used an LED screen at highest brightness right next to a 17" non-LED on highest brightness. And wow, let me tell you, this sucker is freakin bright!!!
I love it. The screen does have yellow towards the bottom and at 60 degrees, but it doesn't really bother me that much. There are no dead pixels, so I'm fine. I contemplated returning it but I have a feeling most of the screens are like this. The Genius at the store said that many get returned but still many are like this, and he thought I'd have to go through about a dozen before finding one without "yellow."
So, other than CS3, what do I need to change so that it runs better for Intel rather than PowerPC? I dowloaded iAlertu already, and love it, anything else I need?
Any plans on MSFT making a universal Office version?
