Greetings All,

Today has been a pretty fine day, I got my MBP from FED Ex today, I took a half day of work to go try to learn some of the shortcuts involved in being a n00b. And I must say this machine is flawless! Sleek, Fast, and the Display is real crispy, comming from a Dell XPS 1210 thats maxed out, a Gateway desktop replacement laptop, I know there will be alot to learn, and i really am looking forward to it. That said I really want to thank all of you for your help, I did a tremendous amount of research on this website before making my purchase, as well as utilizing the Apple store in the Grn Hills Mall in Nashville TN, I also would like to thank the guys at Mac Authority for putting u with me :D . the Insight given was great, as far as the ADC Student Info, Upgrades, and various other Mac type applications. So thanks again,
on a sad note my birthday just passed so my wife got me an iphone, great suprise right? well it completely died today, it did everything but its primary function of being a phone. It does everything else so well. It only lasted two days, so today I got to use apple care for the first and hopefully last time.

Sucks about the iphone. But welcome to the mac party! I just joined about 6 or 7 weeks ago myself! Down with Vista!!!!!
 
So how do you like the folks at the Green Hills store? That's where I buy my Apple stuff, too, and so far they've been great, with only a few really notable exceptions.
 
Oh boy.... sounds like this guy will be a candidate for "they released a new OS 4 days after I bought my Mac" complaint come Friday.
